Sun Valley

Okay, so this post is REALLY late, but better late than never, right! Last month, Jason went to a school safety conference in Sun Valley. We had talked about me going with him, but we didn't know what to do with our girls for the 3 days so I didn't go. While he was gone, I decided to go after painting the kitchen (see previous post). Jason left after school on Wednesday. On Thursday morning (in the middle of painting cabinet doors, I might add) he calls to tell me I should come up. He is staying in the most incredible room and it would be fun if I came to spend the night. Well, I called my mom to see if she was available to watch the girls. She was so I finished painting, packed some things and left. It was really fun! We were able to go out to dinner and watch TV that night with NO interruptions! Oh, and the room WAS incredible as you'll see below. We went and sat in the giant swimming pool/hot tub which was SO nice! The next morning Jason had to be in meetings so I got to enjoy the nicest, longest shower I have had in YEARS! That's right! No little girls banging on the door asking me questions or wanting to come in or bawling. It was so nice! I left about 10:30 and picked up the girls, visited with my mom for a couple hours, then came home. Then I put all the cabinet doors back on! =)
Anyway, so here are some pictures of our hotel room! We checked after we got home and this room costs $459/week nights and $479/weekend nights! Because there were 700+ teachers there for the conference, they just charged the same for all the rooms ($80) and Jason was just lucky enough to get THE nicest one!
Coming in the "front" door. Our room was so big, it had a doorbell!
Looking back down the hall at the entry door
The Living Room. We hardly used this room. It has its own flat panel big screen TV
Another view of living room
The Bedroom. It was fun to sleep on the King size, 2-time zones, bed! Another flat panel big screen TV is behind the door to the left.
Amazing LARGE vanity (big closet with robes and slippers to the left)
Inside the bathroom
Okay, so that is just the INSIDE of the room. We also had our own private balcony.
This is looking to the right...
Then to the left...
and then out to the "courtyard"
Amazing, huh? It was fun because we know we will probably NEVER get to stay in a room that nice again! I'm glad we got the opportunity this time!
