Whole New House

We got our house painted this last week. They aren't quite done but I couldn't stand not putting up pictures any longer. They just have the minor detail work left that really does make a difference. However, for these purposes, you probably won't even notice.
Therefore, recall what the house looked like before:
Random red brick veneer...
This is during the process. Scraping the green off and patching the stucco
Is this a crime scene? No, just a danger area because of lead-based paint. That is why we called in the professionals!
Voila! What the house looks like now!

Red brick gone. Not totally sure how I feel about the blue brick but it does add some contrast to the gray.

I think it looks pretty spiffy!

Celebrating Independence

We had a fun 4th of July! We skipped the parade this year. Janelle came with her kids to our house to party. We had a little BBQ and the kids played in the pool. Jason went to the All-Star High School Football game and we went to my nephew, William's, birthday party. We found a nice spot to watch the fireworks and the kids loved it! They got SO excited over every single firework! It was so cute! Let freedom ring!

A rare picture together. Thanks, Janelle!
Is it time yet?
By the way, it was actually COLD watching fireworks. Crazy weather!

Swimming and hanging out

Here are some cute pictures of the girls hanging out this summer:
Sitting on the front porch. Don't know what Becca is looking at...
We got a pool for the backyard. The girls have LOVED playing in it. Mckenzie is definitely a water baby!
Bathing Beauties

So cute!

When a Man Multi-tasks

If you look close, notice that Jason is holding a large fork, remote control, cell phone, and trying to plug his ear. I guess this is what happens when you try to cook, watch TV, talk on the phone, and block out noisy kids. I just thought this was rather funny!
