Random Catch-up

Here are a bunch of random pictures to catch you up.
Mckenzie in her princess dress, bottle and all!
Add a Becca Fairy...
So precious! Sleeping like she's deep in thought.
My girls got a hold of a couple scarves I have for my jewelry business and wanted to tie them on their heads. Here is the result:
Arrrrr, matey!
Cute picture that Elena must have taken.
Love these people!

Ducks

Last week the girls looked out the window and said, "Hey! There are ducks in our yard!" Jason and I were skeptical but when we looked out, sure enough there they were! We don't know where they came from. They rummaged in our weeds eating bugs, I'm sure, for awhile and then waddled on down the sidewalk. The girls thought they were cool!

Here is Mckenzie watching from the window. She kept saying, "Duck! Quack Quack!"

Memorial Day

For Memorial Day, we went to Dayton to spend the day with Jason's family. We had a large get-together at his parent's and cousin's house. There was much food and visiting. The weather was great! Here are some pictures taken at the cemetery:
The kids were so excited about a couple little dogs some people had there.
Here is Elena and Mckenzie walking with Uncle Daniel. Too cute!
Next year I hope to go visit the gravesides of 3 out of 4 grandparents. I miss them!

What happens when...

Have you ever wondered what might happen if you buy a whole box of potatoes, immediately forget that you bought them, put them in your storage room, and left them for a few months? Well, this is an example of what you might find:

Gross, I know! I felt really dumb.

Elena lost her tooth!

This post is EXTREMELY late but if you haven't noticed, I've been seriously lagging in my blogging! Hence all the posts today! But Elena lost her first tooth in May. She has since lost her second tooth. The second one she pulled out herself. The first fell out in the middle of the night. She was mad that the Tooth Fairy took her tooth away. She wanted to keep it. Little does she know that the Tooth Fairy has it safely tucked away for now. Here are a couple pictures:

Ignore the crazy hair! She was SO excited so we didn't get it combed!

Sewing Skirts

As you might recall, I made a skirt for both my mom and Jason's mom for Christmas. My sisters liked the pattern of my mom's skirt and asked me to make them one. Well, six months later, I finally got around to it. So, these are all the same style, just different fabric. They turned out super cute!
Monica's: (I should have taken a picture with it laying down)
Crystal's:
And I figured while I was at it, I should make me one too! I wore it to church today and got several compliments. They couldn't believe I had made it. That made me feel good!
