Where has the time gone?

Wow! I have been absent from the blogging world for a while. I have been SO busy kicking off my jewelry business! That is going very well, thanks to the support of family and friends! My calendar is booked full of shows til the end of April! I am loving it! It is so fun to put on jewelry every day. The funniest part is Mckenzie. She has picked up on the fact that mom is always wearing fun stuff. Therefore, she is always bringing me costume jewelry (since I won't let my kids touch mine!) to put on her. I think I have a picture, but that would require me to find it! Speaking of Mckenzie, the little tyke is finally off and running. She is more like a drunken soldier than anything but she now walks rather than crawls. This has been a lot easier on the knees of her clothing. My older daughters, however, have worn out the knees in several pairs of their jeans. This is because of their active imaginations and pretending to be animals. Many days I have dogs or cats instead of children. Jason has continued to be busy with school. He is looking forward to golfing this year. I am still also tutoring. I just finished up with one student but still have another. That has been fun as well. That is all I have for now. A small and simple update. I really need to get back in the blogging saddle again!

Dallan is Home

My little brother, Dallan came home from his mission on Monday, February 1. He has been serving in Guadalajara, Mexico. My girls were so excited to have him come home! They'd been asking me every day for the last month if he was home yet.
In the van on the way to the airport
His flight was 15 minutes early so we walked into the terminal and he was already walking off the plane. That's him in the middle.
Can't wipe the smile off that face! I am SO jealous of his tan! It is February and you are supposed to be white! I looked pale next to him!
Hugging my mom
Getting down to give my girls a hug. They were so excited but turned shy at the last minute. He hugged them all at once. This was the first time he met Mckenzie - along with 8 other members of our family who have debuted while he was gone.
I couldn't get over how handsome he looked. With his missionary haircut, startling blue eyes, and dark tan, he looked pretty good! My brother left a boy and came back a man!
Welcome home, Dallan!
