Kitchen Cabinets

Last week I finally got it done! I've been wanting to paint my kitchen cabinets to add some color to a very white room! I discovered that the people before us left almost a whole gallon of the yellow paint used to paint the walls. After conversing with my sister, Monica, and her interior decorating skills, I went for it! I'm pleased with the results and the best part is it cost me almost nothing!
A BEFORE picture. This is before we moved into the house
These are after changing the white window treatments to blue and white stripe

Then the AFTER pictures.
I plan to make a matching curtain to go over the open "hole" above the fridge

Next up on the kitchen update: countertop and backsplash. Who knows when that might happen though!

I just made my cabinets all WHITE lol (pixs to come soon). For countertops I have a GREAT faux-finish that looks exactly like granite and can be done for... probably $100. $150 max. If you're interested let me know when you get to that point and I'll give you the details. LOOKS GREAT! (One project at a time shwew)

Looks great! Remodels are fun, as long as everything goes as planned.
