Never stand on the Ottoman

Recently, my girls have discovered that if they put my larger wooden stool and smaller bathroom stool together, they can make stairs. Last week, Becca tried to make stairs using the two stools, my piano bench, and the rocking ottoman. As she started climbing up, I could see that if she stepped on the ottoman, she would get bucked off. Sure enough, she lost her balance and smashes face first into the big wood stool. I was nursing Mckenzie so I couldn't get up to catch her when I saw she was going to fall. I was nervous that she might have broken her nose, but it didn't bleed. It did, however, swell up and bruise really bad. She's on the mend now, and hopefully is a little smarter about NOT standing on the ottoman!
