I planned to make cupcakes with the extra cake batter but Elena said she wanted a square cake with her butterfly cake. It turned out pretty cute!

Blowing out the candles. She had a lot of help from all her cousins who came to party. You can see my hand in front of Hunter who kept blowing out a candle. We lit it 3 times!

Whenever I asked Elena what she wanted for her birthday, she consistently said she wanted a pink backpack with a butterfly on it. I was nervous I would never be able to find one. But, thanks to eBay, I found the perfect birthday present. She is so excited about it!

It's crazy how fast time flies! Micah has been so anxious for his birthday to come. Just this morning when he woke up, he came in and said, "It's my birthday today!" It's going to be a long 6 weeks...that's all I can say!! We'll see.

SO I just figured out that the other cake spelled out Elena I just wasn't looking at it right or something cause I could not figure out what was there besides the flower!
