With every anniversary, there is a special "gift" you're supposed to give. For 5 years, it is wood. So, Jason bought me a new computer desk since our last one (a hand-me-down) got broken in one of our many moves. It was great because that meant that I also got to build it and, call me crazy, but I love that! Jason says I should go and be hired as the furniture display builder at a store. Here's our building in progress:
Elena and Becca were excited to help. They supervised the whole thing.
It was a little hard to build in a cramp space. My body hurt by the end from sitting on the floor.
Three hours later and, voila, the finished product. I really like it and yes, I do hope to keep it looking this clean all the time! It will be nice to actually have a work space for the office. Thank you for the great gift, Jason!

I love your computer desk, I like to build these things too, it is just fun to see it come together. Congratulations on Five Years! I forgot that too, course, I also forgot Calvin's bday.
