Had I known in the very beginning that I would have 4 daughters, I might have thought twice about each girl having her very own blessing dress. Elena was blessed in mine, I made Rebecca's, and Mckenzie's was purchased due to lack of sewing machine and time. I plan to give each child their blessing outfit to do with what they will. Therefore, since we are having a boy and a girl, I got busy making Baby Girl #4's dress. It turned out even better than I imagined! Thanks to Aunt Myrna and her generosity of fabric and lace a couple years ago, the whole thing cost me $0.78 to make (I bought buttons). I do need to purchase some white satin ribbon to completely finish it, so that will cost me a little more, but you get the idea. It was fun with all that lace! However, I am having a slight dilemma! The lacy "coat" is supposed to have the "V" in the front. But, Jason thought it should go the other way. I can't decide which way I like better. It is separate from the actual dress so it won't be attached and can go either way. What do you think?
The first two pictures are of it backwards
And these two are the correct way. Where you see the pin holding it together will go the ribbon ties to tie it shut.
I think the pictures make the right way look better. I don't know! I'll debate clear up until we bless the twins. As far as an outfit for our Baby Boy, I have not decided what to do yet. I would have to get a pattern. We'll see what happens.

V in the front!! The other way looks like it would be up around her neck too much. You did a great job! Good work!
