Last Saturday was Jason's birthday. He spent the day (and the day before) and the State Wrestling Tournament. That was okay with me because that is what he wanted to do. On Saturday, I was not feeling too hot and Elena was REALLY sick! So, perhaps it was good that Jason was gone because we would have had some sympathy puking from him! =) I had planned to go shopping for a cool gift for him on Saturday. Well, those plans got foiled. You'll see what he got down below. But first, let's start with the cake. You might recall that for Jason's birthday last year, I attempted to make him a "Pizza" cake. It was really cool except it was, well, PINK instead of red. This year I decided to not chance it and go with a color that would for sure not be girly. This is what I did and I'm quite proud!

Luckily, I had picked up these pants and a "fall-back" gift on Friday. This was in case I didn't find anything else. Well, they are what he got. That doesn't mean we won't go shopping some other time, though.
