I promised pictures of our re-covered couch. These are those crazy fish sheets we got for Christmas 3-4 years ago. Yes, it is a little wild for my taste. I can't completely decide if I'm going to keep it that way or just take it all off. It won't stay very well and the tacks I bought for it won't stay because they aren't long enough. Any suggestions?
Also, here is a funny Elenaism from a couple days ago:
Elena has this little stuffed beany-baby type dog which she calls Fluppy. It was time for bed and we were trying to find it. Elena called to him, "Fluuuuuppy! Arf, arf," then she turns to me and says, "see, he's calling for help." I thought it was reallly funny!

I can hear Fluppy too! :~> That is so cute.
What are you trying to attach the sheet to? Wood frame? Fabric on the couch underneath that does or doesn't matter?
There is a lacing method if you can reach both sides of the sheet.
If the undercouch doesn't matter you can run a long basting stitch attaching the sheet to the existing couch fabric using an upholstery needle. They are the curved or "c" shaped needles so when you push it in on side it pops back out on the other. Good luck. I think it looks cute!

Kids are great.... whatever did we laugh at before we had them? My vote is that the fish sheets are a fun change for summer but you definitely need longer tacks. That, or a air powered staple gun, maybe Jason can get that instead of a shotgun?
